Started reading Stealing Fire: How Silicon Valley, the Navy SEALs, and Maverick Scientists Are Revolutionizing the Way We Live and Work by Steven Kotler and Jamie Wheal.
Fascinating book about super performers and what makes them perform at those levels; that too consistently. Some of it may not be acceptable to us, but I think most apply.
Pick this up if you care about performance.

Yay. Most of you like the current title.
Here is the interesting bit. With age, more people also liked "Build epic careers" - suggesting that at that age, the need to evaluate more than 1 career is much higher. When young, you just think of 1 career for the rest of your life.
My response?
Build an epic career :))
Was in Mumbai last week for an event. You won't believe the theme of the panel I was part of - it was called Love and Dating in today's world. Haha!
Was in Bangalore for an awesome event with Forbes India and Hilton - spent time with 3 super-inspiring individuals. Shibani, who is an ultra-marathon runner, Ahana, who runs OpenSecret (you have to try their goodies - awesome and healthy!) and Shruti who runs ApnaKlub. Fab time!

Life is a jigsaw puzzle I received an email yesterday:Had trouble sleeping. Couldn't shut down the brain. Tried acknowledging her emotions, and speaking to her family, yet couldn't seem to figure out what was keeping her up. I asked her what usually occupies her mind. Job search, loan, shaadi-related talks, where to settle conversation - move back to India or stay in the States a little longer. It’s hard to pick priorities in life because we have limited time like personal health, career;...
Stop lying to yourself I received an email this morning. 8 years of work experience. Has 2 job offers.Confused which one to choose. In his words, both offers are the same.Same CTC.Same brand value.Same stability.Same location. Here is what I replied:If both are the same, then you would have just tossed a coin, no? Clearly, both are not the same. #1 Stop lying to yourself. It is the biggest reason why we make terrible decisions. We are dishonest with our own selves. #2 Answer honestly, which...
Stay away from these 3 kinds of people 1/ Those who make fun of your insecurities and when you are hurt, they tell you that you are too sensitive. 2/ Those who do not contribute to the relationship, but expect you to be invested and engaged in the relationship. 3/ Those who dismiss your success as luck or destiny and never acknowledge your hard work or capability. We may not always get to choose our relationships. But the worst tragedy is to choose the wrong ones, despite knowing they are...
